Pavilion Metroscapes has an open back and is hollow on the inside for easy installation. To install the shelf you need to mount a 2x2 or 2x4 on the wall, this is called a cleat that allows you to easily slide the shelf over it. You may need to level the shelf by shimming it before drilling 2 holes into the cleat and secure the shelf with 2 long drywall screws. There is no mounting hardware and none is supplied. However, we provide a patch material to fill the holes drilled.
